Reece Barclay is a professional triathlete from Great Britain, who holds three Ironman World Championship Kona qualifications from age group racing at the start of his triathlon career. Since turning professional, he finished in the top five in a strong men’s field at Ironman Italy, and is building towards a ground-breaking 2020 season.

Beyond his athletic accolades, he’s achieved a Sport Science degree with specific focus on coaching and has set-up his own business in sport fitness and elite performance coaching. He is now considered one of endurance sports foremost coaches, being responsible for the explosive progression of Lucy Charles-Barclay from age grouper to being ranked number two in the World.

Reece comes from a successful national level swimming background with regular appearances at national finals in 200 freestyle, and including national medals as part of an IM relay team.

Reece is also a black-belt in karate, which is a testament to his dedication and discipline in training and also achieved a high standard as a junior squash player. This sporting diversity and understanding has inspired his coaching and training experiences, giving him a huge range of skills and knowledge to draw from.
